EXPERIENCE
Carly works in Allied’s Portland, Oregon office, where she advises clients on labor and employment matters. Her practice includes contract administration and handling arbitrations involving discipline and contract interpretation. Carly also serves as a trustee on Taft-Hartley health and welfare and pension funds.

Carly joined Allied Employers in 2026, bringing a background in civil litigation, public defense, and human resources. Prior to joining Allied, Carly practiced insurance coverage law in Portland, representing policyholders in complex coverage disputes arising from a wide variety of underlying matters. Her practice involved evaluating complex legal and factual issues, developing litigation and resolution strategies, and representing clients through negotiation, mediation, and litigation.

Carly began her career at Metropolitan Public Defender, where she represented clients in more than 100 contested civil commitment hearings. Working under expedited timelines, she investigated cases, evaluated extensive medical records and other evidence, advised clients, and developed and presented cases at hearing. Prior to law school, Carly worked in human resources and business operations, with experience in benefits administration, onboarding, and employee engagement.
